Landowner Partnerships

Why partner with Rogers Family Farms?

A large part of our success stems from a healthy mix of owned land, rented land, crop-share and custom farming. This diversity helps us navigate through tough economic times and fluctuating industry dynamics.  The manure from our hog buildings helps to build fertility in our land, which helps us capitalize on available profits to maintain a healthy base and keep our operations going – and growing – even through fluctuating economic trends. We reinvest in high levels of commercial fertilizer on farms that cannot get manure from our buildings (because of distance) which is good for the ground and promotes higher yields also. With our corn-corn-bean rotation, we pull our own soil samples every three years, following the bean crop. The results of this testing are uploaded to the landlord portal so landowners can stay updated on their farms fertility and our farming practices. This has really been a positive program, but perhaps more than anything else we take pride in our attention to detail. We view each individual farm as a stand-alone farm, as if it were our only one. That sort of personal attention is vital for landowners who want their farm to be well-cared for.
