Meet the Rogers Family
Mark and Kimberly Rogers met in 2011. Mark was immediately smitten by Kimberly and knew that he would someday marry her. Kimberly, however, didn’t return the affections immediately. Mark persevered, and they were married in 2014.
The couple share a passion for family and legacy. They are blessed with six beautiful, precious children. Kimberly feels deeply grateful to be able to homeschool their kids and share life together as a big family on the farm. All six kids love to spend time playing outside – whether riding the 4-wheeler, building forts or caring for their pets, life on the farm brings so much joy!
Mark takes the kids with him to work on a rotating basis, so each one can have one-on-one time with him and learn the ropes of the family business. What a blessing to be able to cross the Harmon Pass and be at work with Dad!
Mark and Kimberly’s motto is to
“work hard at something worth doing.”
Mark and Kimberly both come from a long line of farmers. Mark, a third-generation farmer, has known he wanted to follow in the family tradition since childhood when he would cultivate and “plant” the living room carpet. His favorite childhood activity was riding in the tractor with his father.
Our farming operation began with Mark’s purchase of 80 acres in 2002. Today, the business remains steeped in family roots with several family members – including parents, uncles, aunts, cousins, kids and Grandma – contributing to the Rogers Family Farms operation across a four-county area.
One of Mark’s greatest pleasures and privileges in his job is getting to work with his dad, uncles and cousin on a daily basis. We believe that the camaraderie that is built not only by multiple generations of family working together, but also simply sharing time, sweat and heart together each season, is what makes this family operation a success.
Mark and Kimberly’s motto is to “work hard at something worth doing,” and it is their privilege and joy to care for God’s creation alongside family and friends.
